Why is resilience important?
“Resilience is more and more important in our society. The pace that we lead our lives, both in and outside of work, is ever increasing. The need for individuals, teams and organisations to build and practice resilience has arguably never been greater. Although none of us knows what challenges lie ahead, experience teaches that the mindset is what gives us the ability to overcome obstacles and achieve greater things.”

First step - Take the Survey
Through extensive research, we have identified 18 characteristics or personality traits that contribute to resilience. In our Resilience Questionnaire, you will be guided through a series of 25 questions that will explore your level of resilience in specific areas.
When you submit the completed survey, our partner, The Resilience Programme, will email you a detailed assessment of your current level of resilience, complete with the main strategies for your future development. On receipt of your report, you may wish to start looking at the characteristic identified as in most need of development and follow the suggestions for improvement.
You can contact us at Experience UK to speak with one of our expert Resilience Coaches, who will be happy to advise you on your Resilience Development Journey. Read more about our corporate courses that can help your whole organisation benefit from resilient employees.
To make a start, just fill in your details and work through the questions – answering as accurately and honestly as you can. Try to pick the answer which best describes your current situation, rather than where you have been in the past or where you would like to be in the future.
